KONI has expanded its scope and now incorporated pneumatic springs and dampers in self-contained units, as alternatives to metal springs and dampers. This range of suspension solutions used in commercial and defense applications is known as the HYDRORIDE™ product range.
KONI is leveraging their extensive experience in engineered damper technology to provide high performance, light weight and cost effective applications. Focused on both wheeled and tracked vehicles from 2 to 50 tonnes, the new applications will challenge the toughest of circumstances. This is a modular range of units that can be readily adapted to cover the majority of wheeled and tracked vehicle applications across a wide range of axle loads.
Research started in 2015 and a number of design solutions are being validated at this moment with extensive testing on a high capacity test dyno. KONI’s in-house testing capabilities are state of the art and cover suspension characterization, duty cycle, hot/cold and vibration testing.
KONI will be exhibiting at the Eurosatory event in Paris, in Hall 5a Stand A698, which starts on the 13th of June. Eurosatory is one of Europe’s largest international land and air-land defense and Security exhibitions, welcoming a growing number of foreign exhibitors, visitors and media year after year. Eurosatory 2016 will gather some 1,500 Exhibitors on more than 150,000 m² with 2 indoor exhibition halls, a large outdoor exhibition area and a live demonstration area.
